Celtics blast Chiefland
The annual rite of fall has come again.
I know it's been a while since I wrote an article but one thing still remains the same
Florida ALWAYS beats Georgia!
The Florida Gators (5-2) have beaten the Georgia Bulldogs (5-2) 15 out of the last 17 years—and this year will be no different with Heisman hopeful Tim Tebow under center.
SuperTebow has 2,289 total yards with 17 TDs passing and 10 TDs rushing. His best wide receiver, Percy Harvin, has made big plays all season with three TDs and a 16.6 yards per catch average.
It's been tough being a Gator fan lately—a month without a victory subjected me to constant ridicule.
But Florida beating the Dawgs is always a remedy.
There are three reasons why the Gators will have no trouble with the Bulldogs:
First, the Gator offense is much improved over last season. Florida will score more than 21 points against the Dawgs this year.
This season, the Gators average 40.4 points per game, and scored 24 on an overhyped LSU defense. The Bulldog defense gave up 35 to an enigmatic Tennessee O.
The Gators also have renewed hope of making the SEC Championship game because of the win over Kentucky and Steve Spurrier's first loss to Vandy.
If Florida wins out in conference play, the Gators will go to Atlanta.
Finally, Urban Meyer has had two streaks snapped this season—
the 11-game winning streak against Auburn and his undefeated September streak. One streak still remains e Saint Urban has won all seven games against the chief Gator rivals (Tennessee, Georgia, and Florida State).
They will have no problem extending the streak to eight.
Prediction: Florida 45 , Georgia 17
