COL FB: Michigan 41, Florida 35
Jan. 1 Chad Henne completed 25 of 39 passes for 373 yards and three TDs Tuesday, guiding Michigan to a 41-35 win over Florida in the Capital One Bowl.
Adrian Arrington caught nine passes for 153 yards and two touchdowns for Michigan (9-4), which capped retiring Coach Lloyd Carr's career with the victory.
Mike Hart rushed for 129 yards and two touchdowns, but fumbled twice at the Florida 1-yard-line.
Percy Harvin had a career-high 165 rushing yards on 13 carries with a touchdown and caught nine passes for 77 yards and another touchdown for Florida (9-4).
Heisman Trophy-winner Tim Tebow, the first sophomore to win the award, completed 17 of 33 passes for 154 yards with three touchdowns. He also rushed 16 times for 57 yards and another TD for the Gators.
Carr announced his retirement Nov. 19. Michigan's new head coach will be former West Virginia Coach Rich Rodriguez.
