Florida Makes Plant's Murray An Offer
Add the University of Florida to the long list of colleges interested in Aaron Murray.
The Gators offered the Plant junior quarterback a scholarship this weekend during Junior Day.
"They believe Aaron's going to be one of the top quarterbacks in the nation and wanted to make sure they made him an offer," Plant coach Robert Weiner said.
That brings Murray's scholarship offer total to a little more than 20. Most of the SEC schools are on board, including Tennessee, Auburn and Georgia.
Murray said he will narrow his choices and makes his decision sometime this summer so it won't be a distraction during football season. He is scheduled to graduate from Plant in December and will be eligible to early enroll in January with whatever college he decides upon.
